The first thing we always say is ‘once you’ve found the perfect venue to house your tipis then everything else will fall into place’. With outdoor weddings becoming an increasingly popular trend, venues are really starting to ‘up their game’ when it comes to incorporating the great outdoors. We tend to have two types of couples; those who really love the ‘best of both worlds’ option that comes with choosing a venue and those who just want free reign over a field where they can completely embrace the DIY elements of planning their big day. We’ve worked with over 70 venues in the UK and we can point you in the right direction! If you’re lucky enough to have your own private venue (maybe your parents garden or a friends’ field), that’s great and we will always conduct a site visit to any venue to make sure your tipi can be accommodated.
After that, it’s a case of deciding your ‘theme’ and the kind of day you want to create with our help to give you some much needed inspiration along the way. Will it be a formal affair or a relaxed festival party? Either way – the tipis are the ultimate platform, whatever look you’re going for.
We are here to help with every aspect; from searching for the perfect venue & sourcing sensational suppliers through to organising the more practical things like generators, heaters & stages. Every supplier we work with is individually brilliant in their own way and understanding your wedding wants and needs helps us to make the perfect recommendation for you.
We work with you to create your own floor plan so you can really visualise the end result. The beauty of the tipis lies in their versatility so if you had something in mind, let us know and we’ll go that extra mile to make it work for you. They are the ultimate blank canvas for you to really put your own stamp on your day. That’s what makes them so special and whether you choose to keep them minimal or go to town, they look spectacular either way.
We love to keep our finger well and truly on the pulse when it comes to new trends, bespoke themes, colour schemes and innovative design. For us, this is the best part of the job and seeing it all come together is the most rewarding feeling of all. As part of your booking, we also have a unique ‘Design Your Own Tipi’ tool which has gone down a storm with our clients as you can literally spend hours configuring your own set up just as you want it (a real dream for the computer geek inside you!).
// FLOORPLANS
As a rough guide, our Giant Hat Tipis will accommodate up to 80 maximum seated and 100 standing. For grander affairs, our Tipis link seamlessly to create majestic spaces for over 500 guests!
Choosing your floor plan will begin with estimating your guest numbers, considering your location size and how you plan to use your internal space. We pride ourselves in being completely upfront and honest with our pricing. That’s why all our starting quotes come with matted flooring, beautiful custom-made rectangular tables and benches, atmospheric lighting, roaring fire pits and dance floors as standard. What turns an ordinary event into an extraordinary one is magnificent lighting so your Tipi will be adorned with full fairy lighting and top-of-the-range LED’s, which can be adjusted to any colour hue creating a wonderfully warm, ambient glow to you Tipi!
Your event is our main priority in the week leading up to your special day. We build on site 2-3 days prior to your occasion to allow plenty of time for jazzing up your Tipi. Plus, it’s always a bonus if you can relax with a glass of fizz a couple of days beforehand to soak it all in! Afterwards, if you’re not ready to say goodbye (and we’ve had a fair few tears on our take downs…sob!), you’re also welcome to keep your Tipi an extra day – all you need to do is ask and we’ll work with you to postpone those post-wedding blues!

// SINGLE SERENTIPI
Comfortably housing 50-80 guests, our single Giant Hat Tipis are perfectly suited for a more intimate wedding or special occasion. Raising those walls up will expose dramatic panoramic views with oodles of space for your guests whilst lowering will create a cosy, atmospheric setting.
// DOUBLE SERENTIPI
Measuring just over 20m in width, our double Tipi will typically accommodate 80-120 seated guests. This is our most popular set up for guest numbers of around 100 – allowing room for your dance floor whilst your guests are seated around our roaring fire pit. Need a little extra space? Not a problem…with our handy Wallflex, you can create the extra room needed so your bar, band or DJ don’t encroach on the useable space in your Tipi.
// TRIPLE SERENTIPI
At this scale, we start getting into the realms of bespoke configurations! Linked in a row or a triangle, our triple Tipi set up is perfect for numbers reaching 150. This is when you can get really innovative with your set up – creating different ‘zones’ inside. Think 3 unique areas in one set up – seating for dining, cosy ‘chill out’ furniture for lounging and our dancing area for partying the night away!!
// QUAD SERENTIPI
At above 200 guests seated, our Quad Tipi is the best option. Linked in a row or a classic ‘diamond’ shape, this is one real show-stopper of an event venue! Measuring a whopping 40m in length or 21m x 21m in a diamond, your guests will be left speechless when they cast their eyes on this beast of a set up!
// LOUNGE TIPI
Are your numbers just on the cusp and have you considered your extra evening guests? This is where our Lounge Tipi pops up to save the day! Our Lounge will link seamlessly with any tipi configuration, creating extra space and comfort. If your numbers are between 120-150, our double tipi linked to the lounge is perfect. Similarly, if your numbers are over 150, our triple tipi linked to the lounge is a really popular option. Alternatively, you might just want to add on this little beauty just for the hell of it – adding another element to your event regardless of guest numbers as a cosy snug, stylish bar or kids play area!
