Absolutely, if that’s your thing and it reflects your own individual style and personality, but if you’re looking for fresh, ‘over-the-top’ vibrance at your wedding, this is definitely going to be right up your street!
For this particular showcase, we plunged into the jungle elegance that is ‘Tropulence’ or tropical opulence, as it’s otherwise known. Inspired by my own home (I love a bit of tropical madness), we opted for a sophisticated vibe combining both moody and vibrant colours, luxurious tablescapes and breath-taking floral designs.
Our ultimate aim was to create jaw-dropping glamour integrated with laid back feels and our phenomenal team did a sterling job of bringing it all to life! We chose to showcase how the theme could flow seamlessly from one contrasting setting to another, incorporating both the regal charm of Hirst Priory and the rustic glamour of our stunning tents.
With tropical luxe at the core, we selected a colour scheme of vibrant reds, pinks and oranges, plenty of oversized palms and oodles of lush greenery…all ‘popping’ against the backdrop of black accents. To soften the look, we incorporated blush and smoky grey accessories, creating an end result we think you’ll love!
Moody undertones create such a dramatic feel, whilst the freshness of bright colours and the softness of pastels reigns it all in to bring true romance to your setting. I’ve always lived by the saying ‘go bold or go home’ and this trend certainly embodies everything about this sentiment. My husband thought I was mental when I literally chose THE darkest colours for our home but he now agrees that I’ve made it a home with a depth and richness that can’t be faulted. We love our space and I always try to steer couples to take inspiration from their own home. After all, this is your day and it should encompass how you LOVE to live.
